We are strong advocates for taking your health and wellness choices into your own hands. There are many men (and no, not just “hippies” but also many thousands of millennials and other wellness-conscious men) who are doing just this. These men realise that there are a lot of commercial deodorants out there that contain a range of chemicals and synthetic ingredients that are not good for your body, your armpits or your overall health.

What’s the deal with commercial deodorants?
Aluminium is the key ingredient in many commercial deodorants. This is because it prevents sweating in the area it is applied to. So, when you apply it under your arms, you sweat less. That makes sense right? Unfortunately aluminium is also a toxin. This toxin has links to diseases such as Alzheimer’s and some forms of cancer.
It is very important to note that any studies about these health risks are not yet definitive.
